FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Yes — the full dashboard is free during early access, no credit card. Paid tiers will come later for advanced features (causal incrementality scoring, multi-account intelligence), but the early-access dashboard and your accumulated history stay yours. We'll give plenty of notice before anything changes.
No, never. HaloTrack is a measurement layer with read-only API access — it has no technical ability to modify bids, budgets or targeting. Keep whatever bid tool or agency you use; HaloTrack tells you whether their work is buying real market share.
Two read-only connections via Amazon's official OAuth flow: the Selling Partner API (for Search Query Performance data) and the Amazon Ads API (for spend data). You can revoke both at any time from Seller Central. We never see your password.
Yes. Search Query Performance data is only available to brand-registered sellers — it's the data source that makes share tracking possible. If you're not brand registered, that's the prerequisite to sort first.
We capture whatever backfill Amazon makes available when you connect, then pull weekly from that point on — permanently. This is the reason to connect early: Brand Analytics only shows one week at a time, so the longitudinal record only exists if someone keeps it. Every week you're not connected is data you can't recover.
Those are bid management tools — they automate spend against attributed-revenue targets like ACOS. HaloTrack doesn't manage anything. It measures whether spend changes actually move your share of each search term, using SQP data none of those tools use. They optimise the claim; we check the cause. Many users run HaloTrack alongside a bid tool.
A term where your ads claim sales you would have captured organically — typically where you already rank top-3 organic and your purchase share doesn't respond when spend changes. The ad console books these as ad-attributed revenue; your bank account books the click fees. HaloTrack flags the pattern and attaches the monthly amount.
No. Your account data is never sold, shared or visible to other users. Future category benchmarks will only ever use aggregated, anonymised data from accounts that have opted in. Full details in our privacy policy.
We onboard in small batches so every account gets a complete setup, full backfill and a working dashboard from day one — and because each new account makes the eventual cross-account measurement sharper. Apply, and we review weekly; you'll hear back either way.
Early access starts with amazon.co.uk and amazon.com. Other marketplaces follow based on demand — tell us which one you need on your application.
Yes. Agencies get a multi-account view with per-client dashboards. Each client account connects via its own authorisation, so permissions stay clean. Mention you're an agency on the application and we'll set you up properly.
Pulls stop immediately, you can export your full history to CSV, and you can ask us to delete everything — see the privacy policy for retention details. No lock-in, no exit fees, nothing held hostage.
